Enjoy the unspoiled sand and sea of old Florida at the incredible Vilano Beach vacation house Coastal Haven! Vilano Beach sits right across the intracoastal waterway from downtown St. Augustine. You get the serenity of a private beach house plus all the fun of St. Augustine!

Coastal Haven includes three bedrooms, room enough for the whole family on this beach vacation. Two queen beds and two trundle beds provide sleeping arrangements for a maximum occupancy of 8. There are two full bathrooms, a full size and well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a fish cleaning station, and more.

The downstairs includes a screened porch that is large enough for gatherings of up to 20 people, for a great entertaining and cook-out space. There is also a double shower, a bathroom, a laundry room, and a room with 4 twin beds – a great place for the kids to stay separate from the adults upstairs.

The top floor contains two bedrooms. The Ocean Room faces the beach and allows you to watch sunrises from your bed, if you choose. The Bridge Room faces west with views of the St. Augustine skyline and the Vilano Bridge – a great bridge for walking or running in the pedestrian lane. Complete kitchen with everything you need, including the sunset balcony. The living room is great for watching the ocean or the flat screen tv. Coastal Haven also has a sunrise porch with 2 futons that can accommodate additional guests. This porch looks out over the top deck and our secret beach path. Our fireplace is only for decoration, please do not attempt to use it.

Walk down your private path, and viola, you’re at the beach. Vilano Beach sits at the southern end of Veterans Island, the northernmost barrier island in St. Johns county. Vilano Beach ends just to the south of the Coastal Haven vacation rentals home, at the St. Augustine Inlet. Going north along the beach from the home will take you through miles of relatively private beaches towards Ponte Vedra Beach. This area is a haven for sea shell collectors. The Vilano Beach Pier is just around the corner, a popular fishing location.

It’s not quite as remote a location as it sounds. Just a two minute drive over the bridge is the St. Augustine historic district. Plenty of attractions, shopping, food, and…activities. There’s always an event happening in St. Augustine, and you’ll be so close with this rental home. St. Augustine itself is central to all the goodness of north Florida. Jacksonville and Daytona are both thirty minutes away, Cape Canaveral and Orlando in under 2 hours, Tampa in 3 hours. You can be at leave your St. Augustine vacation rentals at 6am, and be in Disney World by 9am. It’s all possible with First Choice Florida Vacation Rentals.
