4 Best Reasons To Visit Florida

Visit Florida

Every year, millions of tourists flock to Florida to enjoy what the “Sunshine State” has to offer. If you’re thinking about going on vacation here, you have a lot to look forward to. However, four of the very best reasons you’ll want to visit Florida for your next vacation can be found below. You might be surprised by some of the attractions you’ve been missing out on.

The Beach

A visit to Florida wouldn’t be complete without visiting one of the many beaches the state has to offer. In fact, there are over 660 miles of beaches, so you might have a tough time choosing which to visit. Miami Beach is a great spot if you’re looking for downtown nightlife, Siesta Key is great for families, and Key West is perfect for adventure seekers.

Incredible Theme Parks and Attractions

Of course, you can’t visit Florida without experiencing the incredible attractions it has to offer. This includes Disney Land, Universal Studios, Ripleys Believe It Or Not, The Magic Kingdom, and many other fun places for kids and adults. Prices for these vary and most have one-day passes so you can do something new each day.

See Live Alligators

If you’ve ever wanted to see live alligators without putting your life in danger, you can do it in Florida. St. Augustine, in particular, is home to one of the best alligator farms in the country. Named the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, you can come here to visit over 20 species of crocodilians as well as a variety of birds, mammals, and other reptiles. While in St. Augustine you can also visit Castillo de San Marcos, the St. Augustine Lighthouse, and the Lightner Museum.

Key West

The Southernmost Point Buoy is one spot you must visit if you’re near Key West, Florida. Cuba is only 90 miles south of this point, which was originally made a tourist attraction with a brightly-colored landmark back in 1983. While in Key West, you can also visit the home of Ernest Hemingway, Mallory Square, and the infamous Duval Street. Don’t forget to grab a slice of key lime pie while you’re there, too.

Making the Most of Your Trip

No matter which area you’re visiting in Florida, there will be food, attractions, and fun waiting for you. You can go to a theme park one day, a beach the next, and a museum after that, so you’ll never be left without something to do. In fact, it’s recommended to make an itinerary before you leave to make sure you can experience everything that will make your Florida visit so special and unique.
